We are a busy and growing business and real estate litigation firm in San Ramon seeking a California-licensed Associate Attorney with approximately 1–3 years of civil litigation experience to join our team.This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful, hands-on litigation experience and the opportunity to develop as a litigator while working closely with experienced attorneys. From the outset, you will have substantive involvement in active cases and will assume increasing responsibility as your skills and experience develop in a supportive environment.

The Position:
As an Associate Attorney, you will work on a variety of existing and new litigation matters and gain hands-on experience in all phases of civil litigation, including:
- Developing and implementing case strategies and litigation plans;
- Conducting factual investigations and legal research;
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and other substantive court filings;
- Preparing and responding to written discovery;
- Taking and defending depositions as experience permits;
- Preparing for and participating in mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and other court proceedings;
- Assist senior trial counsel with all phases of trial preparation and courtroom proceedings;
- Communicating directly with clients and developing strong client relationships; and
- Working closely with senior attorneys who provide guidance, mentoring, and support.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Approximately 1–3 years of civil litigation experience;
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar;
- A J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school – this requirement is non-negotiable;
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Sound judgment and attention to detail;
- Strong organizational and time-management skills;
- The ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities;
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach; and
- A passion for developing a civil litigation practice.
