Description:

Pianko Law Group is a fast-growing plaintiff-side litigation firm seeking a New York-licensed associate attorney who can independently manage a serious litigation caseload from intake through resolution.

This role is ideal for a proactive attorney who takes ownership of their caseload, moves files forward independently, and exercises sound judgment without needing constant supervision.

This is a full-time remote position with some in-person court appearances as needed (schedule and frequency to be determined).

What You'll Be Doing:

Independently handle primarily motor vehicle accident (MVA) and premises liability cases from summons and complaint through settlement or trial.
Draft and argue summary judgment motions, discovery motions, and default motions.
Take and defend depositions (plaintiff, defendant, and witnesses).
Manage discovery, motion practice, expert coordination, and trial preparation.
Negotiate settlements aggressively to maximize client recovery.
Drive cases forward efficiently while collaborating with support staff.
Work effectively and professionally with the paralegal and support team to move files efficiently.
Maintain high professional standards for pleadings, deadlines, and client communication.

Who This Is For

Active NYS bar admission required.
At least 3 years of full-time experience, preferably in plaintiff's personal injury litigation in New York State.
Demonstrated experience handling MVA and premises liability cases.
Comfortable drafting dispositive motions and managing depositions independently.
Strong organization, judgment, and time-management skills.
Demonstrated ability to delegate clearly, maintain organized workflows, and partner effectively with paralegals and staff to keep cases moving efficiently.
Able to work remotely with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability.
Trial-oriented mindset and comfort pushing cases when appropriate.

Compensation:
$105,000 – $145,000 (DOE & demonstrated prior performance record)
