Curan & Ahlers is a small, well regarded boutique plaintiff personal injury law firm. We are located in downtown White Plains and serve clients across Westchester County, the five boroughs of New York City, Rockland County, and Putnam County.
Your Role:
You will play a crucial role in helping Curan & Ahlers improve the lives of our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing a caseload of personal injury matters from opening to resolution.
- Assisting with all aspects of trial preparation including depositions, court conferences, motions, and hearings.
- Engaging directly with clients to keep them informed and ensure we are providing as much assistance to them as possible.
What we offer:
- For attorneys with 2+ years of experience, a base salary ranging from $95,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
- Exceptional new attorneys with less than 2 years of experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis at a base salary of $75,000 to $95,000.
- Opportunities for additional compensation through bonuses of ⅓ of attorney's fee for cases referred to the firm.
- Hybrid model - we believe in the value of working together in person, but allow attorney's to work on a 4 day's in office 1 day remote hybrid schedule. We will consider 3 days in office, 2 days remote for exceptional candidates.

What We're Looking For:
- JD from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar.
- A minimum of two years of experience in personal injury law.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage tasks and drive cases towards resolution.
- Passionate client advocate.
- A willingness to learn and adapt.
- Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office 365. Experience with Filevine is a bonus.
- Fluency in Spanish is not required, but is considered a plus.
