Job Overview:We're a dynamic, plaintiff-focused personal injury firm seeking a litigation associate who is passionate about standing up for injured clients and eager to try cases. This is an on-site role offering active files, meaningful client contact, and the chance to grow into a long-term leadership position within the firm.
The ideal candidate has strong courtroom instincts, outstanding people skills, and the drive to build and maintain trusted client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury files from pre-suit through trial
- Conduct and defend depositions, including treating providers, experts, and parties
- Argue motions, attend arbitrations and mediations, and participate in trials
- Communicate regularly and clearly with clients, keeping them informed and confident
- Develop referrals and business opportunities through client relationships and community presence
- Work collaboratively with the litigation team on strategy and case preparation
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation (plaintiff or defense)
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Minnesota
- Excellent oral advocacy and legal writing skills
- Proven success in No-Fault arbitrations, discovery practice, and pretrial litigation
- Strong interpersonal skills — able to build rapport and communicate with clients from all walks of life
- Interest in long-term growth with a trial-oriented, client-first practice
