Description:
*Salary: Commensurate with experience, base + incentives*MR Civil Justice is seeking a litigation associate (1–5 years experience) to join our plaintiff-side trial team in Dallas.
The firm represents individuals and families in serious injury and civil rights cases, including negligent security and third-party crime litigation, police brutality claims, medical malpractice, dram shop liability, premise liability, motor vehicle collisions and catastrophic injury matters.
Associates will have the opportunity to manage cases, take and defend depositions, attend hearings, and assist with trial preparation while working directly with experienced trial attorneys.
Responsibilities:
- Manage an established docket of personal injury cases with the support of a collaborative litigation team
- Work cases from filing through resolution or trial, including discovery, depositions, and mediation
- Work directly with experienced trial attorneys on case strategy, liability development, and trial preparation
- Provide client-centered advocacy and guide clients through the litigation process
Qualifications:
- 1–5 years litigation experience (personal injury or civil litigation preferred)
- Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar
- Strong writing and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
- Comfortable handling client communications
- Motivated to develop into a strong trial lawyer
