Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Must be admitted to practice in New York
- Excellent legal writing and communication skills
- Legal project management experience is helpful
- Civil litigation experience preferred and medical malpractice defense a plus
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload, working cases from beginning to end
- Represent clients in a wide range of medical malpractice and general liability insurance defense claims
- Handle court appearances and conduct depositions
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports
- Draft motion papers
