Associate Attorney - Mass Torts

Position Overview:
We are looking for a Mass Tort Associate who directly handles clients and case files, ideally within fast-moving and high-volume litigation environments. This role requires excellent organization, attention to detail, strong judgment, and the ability to drive matters forward proactively without constant supervision. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives under deadlines and can confidently interface with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support mass tort litigation matters from intake through resolution
  • Handle high-volume client communications sensitively, efficiently, and professionally
  • Maintain, track, and organize case files, medical records, discovery materials, deadlines, and workflows
  • Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, settlement summaries, and other written work product
  • Conduct legal research and apply relevant state/federal procedural and substantive law
  • Work collaboratively with partners, paralegals, medical review teams, and support departments
  • Prepare cases for hearings, mediation, settlement, or trial as needed
  • Proactively move files and client cases forward with minimal oversight

Qualifications:
  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Experience in mass torts litigation preferred
  • Strong client-facing communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and writing ability
  • Demonstrated capacity to independently manage deadlines & caseloads
  • Proactive, resourceful, and capable of driving tasks to completion
