McMurray Henriks LLP is seeking a litigation associate with a minimum of 4 years of civil litigation experience. Our plaintiff-side practice covers civil rights and police misconduct, employment, personal injury, medical malpractice, and elder abuse. We also handle business litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants.The ideal candidate has litigation experience in state and federal court, exceptional writing, analytical, and research skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and research pleadings, discovery, and law and motion papers
- Argue motions in state and federal court
- Take and defend depositions
- Trial preparation and second chair at trial and arbitration
- Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, and experts
- Manage case deadlines across multiple matters
Qualifications:
- Active member in good standing of the State Bar of California
- Minimum 4 years of civil litigation experience
- Strong research and writing skills
