Kurzman Eisenberg Corbin & Lever, LLP, a well-established and ever-growing full-service law firm in White Plains, is seeking a Litigation Associate with 4–6 years of experience to join our Commercial Litigation and Trusts & Estates Litigation Practice Groups. As part of our busy practice, you will handle a diverse and sophisticated caseload involving complex commercial disputes and trusts & estates matters. Associates receive meaningful responsibility and opportunities to work directly with partners and clients from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
You will work on a broad mix of commercial and trusts & estates litigation matters from inception through resolution. Responsibilities include:
- Drafting pleadings, motion papers, discovery demands, and correspondence.
- Participating in and ultimately managing litigation matters from initial pleadings through trial.
- Appearing for conferences, oral argument, and other proceedings.
- Developing case strategies and proactively communicating with clients, adversaries, and court staff.
- Conducting and defending depositions, including preparation of clients for depositions.
- Participating in settlement negotiations and mediations.

What We're Looking For:
We are seeking an attorney who brings both strong technical skills and excellent professional judgment, but also someone who will contribute positively to our collegial team culture.

- A demonstrated interest or experience in commercial litigation and/or T&E litigation.
- Knowledge of New York Supreme Court and Surrogate's Court procedures is preferred.

Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar (required).
- 4+ years of relevant litigation experience.
- Admission to the New Jersey Bar is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses. Anticipated range from $170,000 - $230,000 with actual compensation to be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) experience, education/training, skill set, and any book of business.
- In addition to base compensation, attorneys may earn a percentage of revenue from any business they personally originate.
