A Business Transactions & Litigation Law Firm is a rapidly growing commercial litigation firm looking to hire an Associate Attorney, admitted to NY (NJ a plus) with 1-3 years NY civil litigation experience, to join our team. We are a creditor's rights firm with a focus in commercial collections and judgment enforcement.
As an Associate, you're going to have very real and very significant responsibilities, including:
- drafting/reviewing litigation documents including pleadings, motion papers, discovery demands and responses
- conducting legal research
- client communications
- making court appearances for conferences and oral argument (virtual and in-person)
- negotiating settlements.
- NY civil litigation practice: 1 year (Required)
- commercial litigation: 1 year (Preferred)
- being a Rock Star Attorney: 1 year (Required)
- NY civil litigation drafting: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- NY bar license (Required)
- driver's license and reliable form of transportation (Required)
