Koehler Dinkel LLC is boutique employment law defense firm located in Woodridge, Illinois, whose partners are passionate about the Firm, their clients, and the work performed. The Firm handles a variety of matters, including transactional and litigation. Given the wide range of clients and their different and ever-changing needs, the work often varies daily.Koehler Dinkel LLC is seeking a full-time associate attorney, with 2-5 years of experience in labor and employment law, including employment litigation, to join our thriving Firm. The Firm will consider part-time arrangements.
The candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment; and have an active, in good standing, Illinois bar license; solid research and writing skills; strong organizational and time-management skills to meet both court and internal deadlines; and excellent oral communication and advocacy skills. Required experience in general human resources, discrimination and harassment claims, wage and hour claims, and assisting with matters at both the administrative and court level. Job responsibilities will vary by experience but may include legal research and writing, staying current on employment-law issues, case investigation, drafting and responding to various court motions, responding to discovery, assisting with and/or appearing for court hearings, assisting partners with various client demands and case management, providing preventative training for clients, and assisting with day-to-day human resources and/or employment-related client needs.
