- Drafting contracts (AIA, construction, and other types); and other agreements (such as cell phone tower licenses with all major carriers, management agreements, etc.)
- Drafting opinion letters concerning the interpretation of governing documents and local laws
- Commercial Financing Transactions such as mortgage refinances
- Employment law issues such as employment contracts, collective bargaining agreements, and severance agreements
- Drafting letters to residents
- Discrimination cases
- Attending community meetings and community Board meetings
- Client contact and interaction
- Drafting Real Estate contracts
Qualifications:
- 3 + years of experience in contract and transactional-related work or construction-related matters
- Knowledge of community association work is a plus, but not required!
- Excellent writing skills
- Must be admitted in NYS
