A Legal Services in Virginia, a growing general practice law firm, is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate transactions and general civil practice, with strong legal writing and client-service skills.Responsibilities:
- Conduct client consultations and intake, providing professional legal guidance.
 - Handle real estate purchase and listing transactions, including contract review, title analysis, closings, and related negotiations.
 - Draft and review legal documents, including deeds, contracts, motions, pleadings, and petitions.
 - Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and other proceedings as needed.
 - Perform legal research and develop case strategies under the supervision of senior attorneys.
 - Manage case files, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with court and statutory requirements.
 - Assist with billing, invoicing, collections, and general practice management.
 
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
 - Licensed to practice in Virginia (North Carolina license is a plus).
 - 1–3 years of experience in real estate, litigation, or general practice preferred.
 - Strong legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills.
 - Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters.
 - Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and client service.
