Responsibilities:
  • Draft and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, pleadings, and correspondence
  • Conduct client consultations and maintain ongoing communication (in person, phone, Zoom, email)
  • Manage a caseload of probate, trust administration, estate planning, and real estate matters
  • Communicate effectively with clients, court staff, judicial assistants, and other professionals
  • Perform legal research, attend hearings, and track/enter time accurately
  • Work collaboratively with paralegals and support staff to ensure files are organized and maintained
  • Support the Firm's presence through community involvement and professional networking

Qualifications:
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida
  • 2–5 years of experience preferred, but we are also open to training a newly licensed attorney who is eager to learn and grow with our firm
  • Experience or interest in one or more of the following practice areas: Real Estate Transactions, Estate Planning (Wills & Trusts), Probate & Trust Administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable with deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF; familiarity with case management software (PracticePanther or similar) is a plus
  • Professional, ethical, and client-focused approach to practice
  • (Bonus points if you know who “Rohan” is!)
  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school
  • Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association)
  • Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneys
  • Successful completion of the bar exam
