We are seeking a motivated attorney at any stage of practice, whether you are a recent graduate, early in your career, or a seasoned attorney looking for a meaningful change. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, willing to take ownership of their work, and genuinely interested in helping people.
This position offers hands-on client contact, substantive legal work, mentorship, and the opportunity to develop or deepen your expertise in bankruptcy law. You will have meaningful responsibilities from the beginning, while working alongside an experienced team that will support your growth.

What You'll Do:
- Meet with clients and guide them through the bankruptcy process
- Draft Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 petitions and related filings
- Appear at bankruptcy hearings and meetings of creditors
- Communicate with clients, trustees, creditors, and opposing counsel
- Draft motions, responses, and client correspondence
- Proactively manage cases to help clients obtain their discharge
- Travel to court hearings in Maryland as needed

- Bankruptcy experience is not required. We are willing to teach bankruptcy law to the right person. What we cannot teach as easily is integrity, work ethic, curiosity, compassion, and a genuine desire to do good work for your clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the Maryland Bar (or eligible for admission)
- Admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland (or eligible)
- Willing and able to work in person in Towson, MD
- Willing to travel locally for court appearances
- Strong technology skills (Microsoft Office required; BestCase, PACER, or CRM experience is a plus)
