Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our growing boutique law office and dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Civil Litigation, Business Law, and Employment Law matters. This role requires excellent writing and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to conduct thorough legal research. Wage and hour defense experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Provide legal advice and representation in civil litigation and related matters.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client management.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Maintain organized case files to ensure compliance with legal standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding case updates and inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active California Bar membership in good standing (no pending bar applicants).
- 3–5 years of attorney experience in a law office setting.
- Strong writing and research skills.
- Proven negotiation ability.
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $120,000–$150,000 annually, based on experience.
- Eligibility for review and raise after a 90-day probationary period.
- Bonus opportunities for originating clients.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
