Description:
Campbell & Bissell PLLC is seeking an associate attorney with one to six years experience to work on a wide range of cases. Our attorneys practice primarily in the areas of real estate, construction, and business-related litigation. All associates at the firm work directly with clients and our associates are provided with mentorship and courtroom opportunities.Responsibilities:
- Assist other attorneys in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, and contracts
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Communicate and work with clients, witnesses, and other attorneys
- Prepare and draft correspondence, memos, pleadings, discovery and other legal documents
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as licensed attorney
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents, pleadings, and discovery requests
- Courtroom experience arguing motions preferred, but not required
- Experience with contract and construction law preferred, but not required
