Lether Law Group is looking for a highly-motivated associate-level attorney to join our insurance coverage and complex litigation practice. We are a local firm with a national practice looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a desire to work in a multifaceted, dynamic, and growing area of the law.The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications:
Strong writing and analytical skills
Experience with all aspects of civil litigation, including drafting and responding to discovery, motions practice, taking and defending depositions, and trial preparation
Insurance coverage experience
Proactive case management abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Interpersonal and communication skills
Strong research skills
Must be licensed to practice in Washington
The duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Work with a legal team to manage cases from inception to closure
Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and settlement agreements
Legal analysis of case law, statutes, regulations, fact patterns, and policy language
Review and analysis of documents including claims files, correspondence, pleadings, and documents produced in discovery
Prepare for, and attend or conduct, depositions, mediations, hearings, and meetings
Communicate with clients, counsel, and experts
Trial preparation
