A Day in The Life of An Attorney
As an Attorney, you are at the heart of our law firm and play a vital role in serving our clients. Your professionalism shines as you represent your clients in court. With a high level of accuracy, you prepare and draft legal documents. You enjoy building relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and colleagues. Leveraging your communication skills, you fight for your clients when negotiating settlements. You are highly organized and thorough as you prepare, facilitate, and respond to all external client audits. As a member of our team, you help where needed by performing both administrative and management duties. You take pride in using your knowledge and unique skills to win for your clients!

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Managing a large and growing legal staff in the creditor's right and related areas of law.
  • Applying a strong understanding of applicable legal policies as well as federal and state regulatory issues.
  • Communicating with clients regarding current legal and regulatory issues and performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, and adherence to court procedures and processes.
  • Working on special projects as required by the firm and clients.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Licensed to practice in AZ
  • Complete knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • Advanced knowledge of principles, practices, and methods of creditor's rights and the legal process
  • Strong knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework affecting the debt buying and debt collection industries including FDCPA, FCRA, GLBA, and related state statutes.
  • Technologically adept, with familiarity with software including Cogent or similar systems a plus.
  • Ability to handle a high caseload effectively.
  • Strong critical thinking and strategic skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with a team of attorneys and staff to develop strategies for a case.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, and work in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Limited travel for court appearances and industry meetings
