Job Description:Associate Attorney
Well established collection law firm in San Jose seeks an attorney to join its team. Responsibilities include interaction with courts, consumers and clients; extensive regulatory review; discovery and motion practice; review and execution of legal documents at all stages of litigation; and various courtroom appearances including motion hearings and trials.
This is a tremendous opportunity to increase knowledge and understanding of civil procedure and to gain valuable courtroom experience across the State of California.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Admission to California bar required
- Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task, take initiative, and work under pressure of heavy case load
- Experience not necessary
- Each attorney will be trained, mentored, and supervised by senior attorneys where necessary
- Federal admission and experience a plus but not required
