Duties:
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and statutory interpretations
- Draft and review legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, and client correspondence with precision and clarity
- Prepare for and participate in court depositions, trial preparations, and hearings to advocate effectively for clients
- Manage multiple cases efficiently through comprehensive legal case management systems
- Provide expert legal counsel on complex issues spanning personal injury law, employment law, land use regulations, and tribal law & regulations
- Negotiate settlements and legal agreements that align with clients' best interests while adhering to procedural law requirements
- Communicate clearly with clients to explain legal options, progress updates, and strategic recommendations throughout case proceedings
Skills:
- Demonstrated expertise in estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, patent law, and general & commercial litigation
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent legal advocacy abilities in both courtroom and settlement settings
- Proficiency in conducting detailed legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms
- Experience in drafting contracts, motions, pleadings, and other legal documents with accuracy and professionalism
- Knowledge of procedural laws governing court depositions, trial preparation, and litigation processes
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to clients and colleagues alike
- Proven track record of managing multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high-quality work standards
- Familiarity with legal case management software and administrative procedures within a busy law office environment
