Lafky & Lafky has an immediate opening for an entry to mid-level associate to join its team! Applicants must be a current member (or soon to be) of the Oregon State Bar. We are not participating in the SPPE program at this time.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Active membership in the Oregon State Bar in good standing;
  • Strong work ethic, time management skills, and demonstrated ability to handle a heavy case load;
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently;
  • Ability to handle a variety of matters simultaneously to meet client demands;
  • Our primary current need is for an attorney to do research and writing helping with motion practice, appellate briefing and other similar work.
  • Close attention to detail, superior proof-reading skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent oral advocacy, research, writing, communication, and analytical ability; and
  • 0-3 years of litigation experience, ideally including drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and trial preparation.
