Included in our portfolio of services are commercial litigation, business planning, tax planning, tax resolution, succession planning, and estate planning and business and consumer bankruptcy. A candidate should be familiar with both district, circuit court and probate court procedures and possess the ability to draft basic pleadings, good communication skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate will have significant experience in the practice areas described above and be self-starting and self-sufficient, be highly motivated and have the mind-set to aggressively pursue our clients' interests.Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Duties:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal support and assistance to our clients. Your duties will include:
- Conducting legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and agreements
- Assisting with case management and preparation for litigation
- Representing clients in court hearings and other legal proceedings
- Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients
- Providing legal advice and guidance to clients
- Collaborating with senior attorneys on complex cases
Skills:
