- Assist in preparing for trials, hearings, negotiations, and client meetings by organizing case files and evidence
- Support attorneys in managing litigation processes from inception through resolution
- Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
- Provide exceptional legal research and writing skills to contribute to case development and legal strategy sessions
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission or eligibility for admission in the relevant jurisdiction
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in multiple practice areas such as family law, personal injury law, civil litigation, criminal defense, and estate planning.
- Proficiency with legal research tools including Westlaw
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents
- Strong legal drafting abilities combined with meticulous attention to detail
- Prior experience working in a law office setting or legal administrative environment preferred
- Effective negotiation skills coupled with the ability to analyze complex legal issues critically
