Description:

Busy, solo immigration law firm seeking an Associate Attorney. Ideal candidate would speak Spanish and have a background or interest in family law, criminal law, or immigration law.

Immediate primary focus will be the custody portion of Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) cases. This process includes filing for custody and Special Immigrant Juvenile factors with Virginia Juvenile and Domestic Relations (JDR) Courts and attending hearings. Training will be provided if needed.

Additional duties/responsibilities will vary depending on the applicant and their area of interest.

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice law in Virginia
Prior experience working as an Associate Attorney or similar role preferred but not required
