Salary Range:

$90,000.00 To $120,000.00 Annually

Smith Debnam (www.smithdebnamlaw.com) is seeking candidates for a full-time litigation associate position to assist in the representation of Creditors' Rights in consumer matters.

The following are prerequisites for this position:

Minimum of one year's experience in litigation in private practice
Handle substantial case volume with minimal supervision
Handle hearings, trials and other matters in various jurisdictions throughout NC (and SC as licensing allows)
Manage staff effectively in support of practice with an understanding of the business aspects of managing an efficient law practice
Negotiate effective settlements and case resolution on behalf of clients
Live/work out of Raleigh-Durham-RTP area in NC

Ideal candidate's experience will include:

Dual licensed in NC and SC (or willingness to obtain SC licensure)
Three years' practice experience representing creditors in state court
Preference for in-office work environment in a collegial culture

This position requires being regularly present in our Raleigh, NC office, except when travelling to court appearances across the state (estimated court travel requirement of 20% to 40%.)
