Position Overview:
Kuhns Law Firm is seeking a Trusts & Estates Attorney to join our growing team. Candidates must be members of the Florida Bar or in the process of obtaining Florida Bar admission. Preference will be given to candidates with at least two years of trusts and estates experience or three years of general legal practice experience.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Meeting with clients to design, review, and execute estate planning documents.
  • Researching, drafting, reviewing, and revising estate planning documents, including: (1) Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts; (2) Wills; (3) Durable Powers of Attorney (DPOA); and (4) Living Wills and Designations of Health Care Surrogate.
  • Supporting the firm's estate planning services as the primary area of practice.
  • Assisting, as needed, with probate matters, including summary administration and formal probate proceedings and Trust Administration matters.
  • Preparing and Reviewing Warranty Deeds, Special Warranty Deeds and Quit Claim Deeds.
  • Experience in real estate, business law, or taxation is beneficial but not required.
