Description:

Wallace & Wallace, LLP is seeking a full-time attorney to join our growing Trusts and Estates practice, with a focus on estate administration and probate matters. This position is well-suited for either a newly admitted attorney interested in developing a strong foundation in trusts and estates, or an experienced attorney seeking to continue building a meaningful practice in this area.

The attorney will work closely with clients, fiduciaries, beneficiaries, Surrogate's Courts, financial institutions, accountants, and other professionals to assist with the administration of estates from inception through closing. Responsibilities may include preparing probate and administration petitions, appearing in Surrogate's Court proceedings, communicating with clients and interested parties, reviewing estate assets and debts, preparing accountings and related documents, assisting with distributions, and handling related estate administration matters.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, professional, and capable of managing deadlines. Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. Prior experience with estate administration, Surrogate's Court practice, NYSCEF, and estate planning documents is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has a genuine interest in trusts and estates.

Wallace & Wallace, LLP offers a professional, supportive, and team-oriented work environment with the opportunity for hands-on experience, client interaction, mentorship, and long-term growth. We offer competitive compensation, health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays, and the opportunity to build a rewarding career in a well-established trusts and estates practice.

Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit a resume and cover letter for confidential consideration.
