We are seeking an attorney with 5 to 10 years of civil litigation and trial experience who can fully handle all phases of litigation, prioritize workloads to meet deadlines, exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and produce accurate and high-quality work product in a fast-paced volume-based environment. The candidate must be able to work independently and possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Previous exposure to litigation and Florida Rules of Civil Procedure is a plus. Bar membership in Florida is required.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience, and includes our benefits package. Additional compensation and special consideration will be given to candidates who are bilingual. We are looking to hire a candidate with the aforementioned bar membership(s) who lives in or is interested in working in the Pompano Beach, FL area.

Job Responsibilities – in this role, you will…
  • Handle civil litigation cases related to real estate, business, & bankruptcy, and certain non-litigation cases from inception to trial
  • Create case strategies and litigation strategies as needed
  • Communicate with supervising attorney(s) and clients to provide constant transparency and status updates
  • Provide comprehensive review of all conditions precedent to filing of the action, including review of documents, financials, notices and demand letters
  • Draft and review pleadings and correspondence to initiate actions
  • Ensure all internal systems are updated to include findings, documentation, and recommendations
  • Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements, as applicable

  • Excellent litigation skills
  • Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate through both verbal and written electronic correspondence
  • Meticulous analytical, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently

Required Education and Training

  • Juris Doctor
  • 5-10 years legal experience in civil litigation
  • Bar membership or pending bar membership in Florida
  • Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control
