Description:

Rogers & Russell, PLLC is a growing litigation-focused law firm based in Utah County. Our practice includes business disputes, family law, bankruptcy, real estate litigation, personal injury, and general civil litigation. We are seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with litigation experience who is ready to take a more active role in case management, courtroom work, and client representation.

This position is ideal for an attorney with 2–5 years of experience who wants more responsibility, more direct client contact, and the opportunity to grow professionally and financially in a smaller, fast-moving firm environment.

Our attorneys handle real cases, appear in court regularly, and work directly with clients. This is not a document-review or support-only position.

The position will be based primarily in our Pleasant Grove office, with occasional work in Salt Lake County and courts throughout Utah.

Responsibilities:

Manage assigned litigation matters from intake through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and briefs
Conduct legal research and case analysis
Prepare and respond to discovery
Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials
Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel
Assist with case strategy and settlement negotiations
Work with partners on complex litigation matters

Qualifications:

Licensed to practice law in Utah (required)
2–5 years of litigation experience preferred
Strong writing and research skills
Ability to manage multiple active cases
Comfortable appearing in court
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Interest in long-term growth with the firm

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary range: $85,000 – $105,000 DOE
Performance-based bonuses
