Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our reputable law firm. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various legal areas, including civil litigation. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling diverse legal matters, conducting thorough research, drafting legal documents, and supporting litigation efforts. Prior experience with legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw is highly desirable.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, and other legal research tools to support case preparation.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, motions, and memoranda.
- Assist in case management and litigation processes across various practice areas such as civil litigation.
- Negotiate on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining professional integrity.
- Prepare for court proceedings by organizing case files and evidence.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop legal strategies tailored to client needs.
- Attend client meetings and provide legal advice under supervision.
- Stay current on relevant laws and regulations affecting practice areas through ongoing research and professional development.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Florida Bar.
- Strong knowledge of civil law preferred.
- Proficiency in legal research platform Westlaw preferred.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and concise legal documents.
- Demonstrated experience in legal drafting and administrative tasks within a law office setting.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
- Exceptional research skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
