Job Description:
Stern & Mauck, LLC is seeking an associate attorney to practice probate. Candidates must have a Juris Doctorate from an accredited university and be admitted to practice law in the state of Kansas and/ or Missouri. Additionally candidates must have excellent communication and writing skills. Duties include managing probate cases from inception to conclusion, including preparing and filing petitions, attending court hearings, and administering estates under the guidance of Stern & Mauck, LLC attorneys.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Kansas and/or Missouri State Bar (dual admission preferred).
- Prior experience in probate law preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to client service and building long-term client relationships.
