Description:
Position Overview:As an attorney with Kheystone Legal, you will be responsible for managing all phases of representing clients, from client intake through settlement or trial.
Responsibilities:
While the attorney will be handling a wide range of cases, responsibilities will include:
- Conducting legal research and analysis
- Drafting pleadings and other legal documents
- Preparing for, and attending, court proceedings, depositions and settlement conferences
- Managing discovery and document production
- Collaborating with partners and support staff on case strategy and execution
- Initiating and maintaining client relationships and provide excellent client service
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- At least 1-5 years of litigation experience
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to professional growth and development
