About the Position Babun & Torres, P.A. is seeking a motivated, bilingual Associate Attorney who is eager to learn, develop their legal practice, and provide exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of legal experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with senior attorneys and support staff. Draft legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts for court proceedings and contract negotiations.
Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date client files to ensure information is readily accessible to attorneys and support staff.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and colleagues to ensure cases are handled efficiently and professionally.
Analyze legal issues, identify potential conflicts, advise clients on available solutions, and negotiate on their behalf.
Attend court hearings and other legal proceedings as required.
Conduct legal research and prepare written analyses to support case strategy and legal decision-making.
Collaborate with senior associate attorneys to develop legal strategies and provide sound legal advice.
Assist in meeting client needs, strengthening existing client relationships, and expanding the firm's client base.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing.
Successful completion of the Florida Bar Examination and all requirements for admission to the Florida Bar.
Fluency in both English and Spanish, including strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, staff members, and senior attorneys.
Willingness to learn from experienced attorneys, adapt to client needs, and contribute to the growth of the practice.
Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and maintain a high standard of professionalism.
Ability to work in person at our Miami office.
