This position is great for the lawyer desiring to work as a civil litigator in a boutique firm environment, with an emphasis on business and real estate litigation. The position will expose the candidate to an active law firm environment where we prioritize quality of cases and the work performed thereon. The candidate will be expected to attend hearings in state and federal courts, interact with experienced opposing counsel, and handle their own cases, exhibiting the ability to work under guidance or independently.
Requirements:
- Excellent analytical and writing skills.
- Admitted to the bar.
- Must like litigation or have an interest in practicing civil and commercial litigation.
- Two years of litigation experience preferred.
Job Duties:
- Writing pleadings and motions in civil litigation cases in state and federal courts.
- Handling discovery in civil litigation cases in state and federal courts.
- Attending hearings in civil litigation and commercial cases.
- Assisting Supervising attorney in jury and bench trials.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
