The Opportunity:We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our team, focusing primarily on transactional matters, estate planning, and probate/trust administration.
In this role, you will work closely alongside two experienced shareholders who specialize in these areas, offering immediate hands-on experience, direct client contact, and high-level mentorship. This position offers a direct path for professional growth and long-term career advancement within the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review comprehensive estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives).
- Assist clients through trust administration and the probate process.
- Advise individuals and closely held businesses on transactional matters, contracts, corporate formation, and real estate transactions.
- Collaborate with firm partners and staff to deliver practical, client-focused solutions.
- Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensure: Admitted to practice law in Missouri (or eligible for motion admission/pending bar results).
- Skills: Strong legal research, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Preferred: Background or interest in tax, accounting, or business operations (a plus, but not required). Candidates with varying levels of experience are encouraged to apply.
