Position Overview:We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our team. This position is ideal for a lawyer who wants hands-on experience in private practice and the opportunity to develop professionally while building a long-term career.
The Associate Attorney will learn how to eventually manage their own caseload under supervision, handling client communications, drafting pleadings and discovery, and appearing in court. This is an opportunity to learn the practice of law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned client files from intake through resolution
- Conduct client consultations and maintain regular client communication
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and responses
- Handle court appearances, hearings, and conferences
- Participate in case strategy and litigation preparation
- Work closely with attorney and support staff to move cases efficiently
- Assist with negotiations and settlement discussions

Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas
- Strong communication and writing skills

- Comfortable working directly with clients
- Litigation or family law experience is a plus, but not required
- Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required
