Associate Attorney – Family Law & Criminal Defense (South Jersey)We are a boutique family law firm in South Jersey seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our growing practice. Our firm focuses primarily on family law matters, with additional work in criminal defense.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody, support, and domestic violence matters.
- Appear in Court handling trials, motions, and other litigation related proceedings.
- Conduct client consultations and prepare case strategies.
- Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and correspondence.
- Assist with criminal defense cases as needed, including legal research, drafting motions, and appearing in court.
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed and eligible to practice law in New Jersey.
- Family law experience is preferred but not required.
- Interest in handling both family law and criminal defense.
- Strong interpersonal skills, as the position requires significant client contact.
- Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multitask is a must.
- Preferably resides in New Jersey.
Compensation:
- Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.

- In addition to base compensation, the firm offers origination commissions for client matters brought in by the attorney as well as bonuses at the partners' discretion.
