Veliz Katz Law is seeking a motivated, client-focused Associate Attorney to join our established practice in Maitland, Florida.

For more than 35 years, our firm has served individuals and families throughout Central Florida, providing personalized legal representation in family law, divorce, probate, and estate planning. We pride ourselves on clear communication, responsive client service, and strong advocacy.

The Associate Attorney will work closely with the firm's partner and legal team to represent clients in a variety of matters, with a primary focus on probate and estate planning.

Responsibilities include:

Managing client matters and maintaining organized case files and calendars.
Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents.
Advising clients with clarity, professionalism, and empathy.
Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, hearings, and court proceedings.
Communicating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Collaborating with colleagues to develop case strategies and deliver high-quality legal services.
Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Excellent judgment, organization, and attention to detail.
A commitment to professionalism, ethics, and exceptional client service.
Experience in litigation, probate, or estate planning is preferred. Candidates with relevant internships or clerkship experience are also encouraged to apply.
Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
