Position Overview:
Shipwash Law Firm, PA, a rapidly growing law firm, is seeking an attorney to represent clients in civil matters related to homeowners' association and condominium association law. In this role, you will draft legal documents, advise clients, and manage cases involving homeowner/condominium association issues, with regards to their collection and covenant enforcement accounts. Additionally, you will be researching and reviewing the association's governing documents for the preparation of legal opinions of the general matters of the associations. Given the nature of the work, this role involves managing a significant caseload, with an emphasis on efficiently resolving urgent matters and troubleshooting complex issues. Attorneys in this position will focus on reviewing the files quickly to meet the clients' need, ensuring that cases can progress smoothly after being escalated. The goal is always to achieve a favorable outcome for clients as promptly as possible while maintaining high standards of legal practice.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage and litigate a high-volume caseload of collection and covenant enforcement files of the associations, handling both routine and contested residential foreclosure cases with precision and skill.
  • Draft, argue and strategize around motions necessary to drive favorable outcomes for our clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from start to finish.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and leadership to a team of skilled paralegals and legal assistants, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Engage directly with clients to provide an outstanding customer experience and building long-term, trusted relationships by providing industry-leading service.

Requirements:
  • Actively licensed in Florida.
  • 1-3 years of experience in homeowners/condominium law
  • Must have experience in litigation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to travel throughout Florida as needed.
