Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years experience in family law. This role requires excellent writing skills, organization, time management as well as the ability to multitask and complete work within deadlines effectively. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for supporting senior attorneys in case preparation, conducting legal research, and representing clients in various legal matters.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Assist in the preparation of cases for mediation and trial.
- Review discovery and respond to deficiencies.
- Represent clients in court hearings and negotiations, advocating for their interests.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations to provide accurate legal advice.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on case progress.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proficiency in legal research
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Pay: $93,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
