Overview:We are a small personal injury firm in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, looking for an associate attorney.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct thorough legal research and writing.
- Work cases through all stages of litigation.
- Draft and review legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
- Assist in the preparation of cases for trial, including organizing evidence and witness statements.
- Maintain organized case files and documentation to ensure efficient workflow within the law office.
Basic Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in Kentucky.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or coursework in workers' compensation law or personal injury law.
- Strong writing skills with a focus on legal drafting.
- Proven ability to conduct effective legal research and analysis.
