We are now searching for an associate to join us in our Los Angeles, California office.

This position will be cross-trained in our various practice areas and has a requirement of 1,680 yearly billable hours.

About You:
You have 1-5 years of experience, preferably including some litigation experience or the willingness to become a litigator. You are accustomed to handling a file from start to finish and are a self-starter. You have an interest in learning various practice areas and appreciate the mentorship of a senior attorney. You have strong writing skills and excellent attention to detail. You have a reputation for being hard working and work well independently and as part of a team. You are searching for a career and not just a job.

Your duties will include:
  • Research
  • Drafting pleadings
  • Responding to discovery
  • Conducting depositions
  • Drafting correspondence
  • Communicating and meeting with clients
  • Estate planning
  • Making court appearances
  • Probate and trust administration

Education & Requirements
  • 1-5 years' experience in civil litigation required
  • Licensed to practice law in California
  • Courtroom experience preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Superb written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to learn various practice areas
  • Coachable
