Description:
Responsibilities:- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements
- Case management and preparation for hearings, trials, and depositions
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and arguments
- Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation or alternative dispute resolution processes
- Represent clients in court proceedings and effectively litigate cases
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation
- Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the state of Arkansas
- Experience with legal drafting and preparing legal documents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
We would prefer to hire an individual with a minimum of 1 year of family law litigation experience, but are open to other types of experience!
