Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis using tools such as LexisNexis to support case preparation.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements with precision and clarity.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while ensuring their best interests are represented.
- Assist senior attorneys in case management and strategy development across multiple practice areas.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on case progress and address any concerns.
- Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may impact clients or cases.
- Collaborate with team members to develop innovative legal strategies tailored to client needs.
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Previous experience in a law office setting is preferred; familiarity with Family Law is a plus.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
- Proven negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
- Excellent research abilities and proficiency in using legal research tools such as LexisNexis.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
