Job Summary:Join our legal team as an Associate Attorney and take an active role in family law, bankruptcy, criminal law, and litigation. You'll manage matters from initial review through resolution, communicate clearly with clients, and support counsel across a broad range of practice areas. Duties:
- Conduct legal and statutory research using LexisNexis and Westlaw; analyze procedural law and relevant authorities.
- Draft contracts, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents; support trial preparation and court depositions.
- Manage case files, deadlines, and legal administrative tasks; maintain clear, timely client communication.
- Assist with general and commercial litigation, legal negotiation, and advocacy, including personal injury and employment law matters.
- Support matters involving estate planning, family law, immigration, bankruptcy, criminal, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Law degree and active authorization to practice in the applicable jurisdiction required.
- Law office experience, legal case management, legal writing, and legal drafting skills required.
- Demonstrated research, negotiation, client communication, and legal motion preparation abilities.
- Experience with litigation, personal injury cases, employment law cases, contract drafting, or trial preparation is valuable.
- Familiarity with LexisNexis, Westlaw, and the listed practice areas is preferred; not every area is required.
