We are an established boutique law firm primarily specializing in health care law. Practice areas include, but are not limited to, white-collar criminal defense, civil litigation, and administrative law. We are seeking a candidate willing to join the team as an associate attorney (licensed in California) who exemplifies the following qualifications:- excellent writing and communication skills;

- ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments/dynamic caseload;
- very mindful of deadlines;
- proactive and resourceful;
- can identify issues and create and effectively implement workable solutions;
- highly motivated, self-directed, independent worker who can also take direction and thrives under pressure in a bustling and dynamic law office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
research and writing (i.e. drafting pleadings, compliance letters, law-and-motion practice, drafting writs, et al.), case management, propounding and responding to discovery, pre-trial court appearances, trial preparation, and handling appeals. Prior courtroom and litigation experience is ideal--particularly in federal court. Prior health care law experience is a definite plus.
