Description:
Duties:- Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, and other legal research tools
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and contracts
- Assist in preparing for and attending hearings, trials, and depositions
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
- Review and analyze legal documents and contracts
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal matters
- Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice area
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar association
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Proficiency in using legal administrative software and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Litigation experience is preferred but not required
