Description:

Duties:
  • Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, and other legal research tools
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and contracts
  • Assist in preparing for and attending hearings, trials, and depositions
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
  • Review and analyze legal documents and contracts
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal matters
  • Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice area

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the state bar association
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Proficiency in using legal administrative software and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Litigation experience is preferred but not required
