Wegmann Law Firm, the oldest law firm in Jefferson County (est. 1947), is seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our team in Hillsboro, MO.We are a busy, full-service general practice firm providing trusted local representation since 1947. Our attorneys handle a wide range of matters including:
- Personal Injury
- Criminal Defense / DUI / Traffic
- Family Law (divorce, custody, support)
- Estate Planning, Probate & Guardianships
- Workers' Compensation

- Business & Civil Litigation
- Municipal Law
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, contracts, and other legal documents
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
- Assist with hearings, trials, depositions, and court appearances
- Manage case files and support senior attorneys
- Opportunity to appear in court early and grow a diverse practice
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in Missouri
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Prior experience is preferred but we welcome motivated newer attorneys eager to learn and gain courtroom experience
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
