Description:

Associate Attorneys are in-charge of the day-to-day handling of matters undertaken by the firm. Associates are responsible for conducting research on relevant areas of the law, preparing initial drafts of legal documents and memoranda, and may be required to appear at hearings or depositions or to directly counsel clients on certain points of law, along with any other task related to the matters to which he or she is assigned. Depending on the Associate's experience, he or she may be tasked with taking the lead on certain matters or working with one or more attorneys in the firm

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice before the Courts of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the United States

District Court for the District of Puerto Rico.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Able to work both independently and with a team of attorneys.
  • Can develop, implement, and execute case strategies.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Formidable interpersonal, negotiation, and public speaking skills.
  • Able to engage with and advise clients on a professional and personal level.
  • Exceptional research and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Adaptability, time-management, and attention to detail
